New app has bedtime stories covered

Here at Time4Sleep we are well aware of the importance of a good bedtime story when it comes to helping establish children’s bedtime routines and easing them off to the land of nod.
Last month we reported that Enid Blyton’s Famous Five stories are the nation’s all-time favourite choice when it came to pre-sleep fairy tales, although we also noted that almost half of parents struggle to read bedtime stories to their children regularly because of busy schedules.
Now it seems there is a solution for parents who are unable to read to their child before they hit the hay, which comes in the form of the new Nursery Rhymes app for the iPhone and iPad.
The application allows parents to speak to their child through a microphone and even allows pages to be turned using the touch screen giving the impression of having the parent there reading to them.
